The audience is real. The supply is thin. Liberal Concept proposes that this displaced appetite deserves a persistent platform rather than an event-format approximation. The pedagogy is unhurried. A course is not a forty-minute summary but a term-length sequence, in the spirit of a university extension program rather than a content channel. The audience, in our view, is meaningfully larger than the events market suggests. It includes attorneys who once read Trollope on the subway, physicians who took two semesters of Aristotle in college, founders who would like a structured way to read the entire Federalist, and the broad and growing class of working professionals who have begun to recognize that thinking deliberately is itself a competitive practice. What unites them is not nostalgia for college; it is dissatisfaction with the news cycle as a substitute for an education.
